The mission of Valley Preschool & Childcare is to provide children with an engaging and nurturing environment, while stimulating social and cognitive growth 

Valley Preschool & Childcare believes that each child is unique. The goal of our program is to create a nurturing environment that enables each child to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. 

Our staff is dedicated to providing interactions, which will promote positive self-images and esteem. We realize that providing the best care is a collaborative effort between our staff and the child's parents; therefore, parents are consulted in every aspect of the child's program. In order to provide superior services, evaluation will be a constant of our program. 

The goals we intend to establish for the children through this Childcare and Preschool program of varied experiences are:

Accountability

Definition: Taking responsibility for our actions, decisions, and commitments to children, families, and colleagues.

Families rely on the center to provide dependable care, and children thrive when promises and routines are upheld. Accountability also models responsibility for children, helping them learn this important life skill.

Empathy

Definition: Understanding and sharing the feelings of others by showing compassion, patience, and support.
Why It Matters: Young children are developing emotional awareness, and they learn empathy by experiencing it from adults. When educators and caregivers respond with empathy, children feel secure, valued, and understood. Empathy also strengthens relationships with families and creates a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Honesty

Definition: Communicating truthfully and transparently with children, families, and staff.
Why It Matters: Trust is the foundation of a strong childcare community. Families entrust the center with their most precious gift—their child. Definition: Building strong, supportive connections among children, families, staff, and the broader neighborhood.

Why It Matters: A sense of belonging is essential for both children and adults. By fostering community, the center creates an environment where families feel welcomed, children thrive socially, and staff collaborate effectively. Community partnerships also extend learning beyond the classroom and support children’s growth in real-world contexts.
